About Us
We're not a group of pipe-smoking good ol' boys remembering the old days and we're not a bunch of rich playboys trying to start a plantation. Active members are volunteers who honestly believe that quail can make a comeback and are willing to take the steps to see it.  Combined together, every acre of habitat is vital to restoration.  Though we are always planning, meetings are chance to learn through other's experiences.  We often have guest speakers to present information on wildlife biology, dog training and care, shooting techniques, and land management. We "occasionally" share hunting stories too.

Chapter History
A few die-hard quail enthusiasts met in Greensboro in the fall of 2005.  Under the guidance of then Regional Director Wade Teague, Chapter 778 was formed with Mike Dawkins serving as Chairman.  The first annual banquet was held at the Cardinal Country Club in April 2006.  Since then, the Central Carolina Chapter has continued to grow and accomplish projects on the local level.  Only through the sharing of fresh ideas can we improve, so new members are always welcome at all events.
